Wrapping the 2021 Marketing Year with YPM

To Our Clients, Family and Friends,

First off, thank you for a fantastic year! We wouldn’t be where we are today without all of you. As we look toward 2022, we wanted to take a quick look in the rearview and share our own highlight reel of 2021.

The year started off with the big 4-0! YPM celebrated our 40th year in business. We’re proud to have the authority that comes with laugh lines, the experience associated with a few grey hairs and the knowledge that comes with decades of diverse clients.

Facebook was very busy this year! They changed their name to “Meta”, dealt with the growing pains of Apple’s iOS14 update (in fact the whole family felt that one!), and Instagram got rid of the ‘Swipe Up’ feature.

Digital audio & video, specifically Podcasts, and Connected TV channels felt the love and were voted ‘Most Popular’ in their class. Keep an eye on these two! We expect big things from them this next year. Speaking of big things, our youngest, Tik-Tok, really hit a growth spurt and took the world by storm with its snackable video content.

Website Development, our eldest, underwent a make-over in 2021. Things like UX/UI, page speed, and content were all improved and have never been better.

Last, but definitely not least, Google (of which we are a premier partner) really focused on local ad types such as Google Maps and Google My Business. Lead Form extensions hit the search scene and have really helped drive conversions throughout 2021.

This past year kept us on our toes to say the least! We look forward to what 2022 brings. In the meantime, we hope you and your family enjoy a happy and safe holiday season! See you in 2022!
